I have been a public school classroom teacher for 20 years, a Pastor’s wife currently for 16 years, a puppy mom of 2 doodles for 4 years, and currently a Sunday School teacher for 30, but NONE of those truly matter to me, because I am simply a child of the High King! 👑 💜
These things USED to matter to me, but when I realized I am NOTHING without Jesus, I willingly (and sometimes NOT so willingly) threw all of those “things” in the air! Jesus simply wants to spend time with me because He LOVES ME…and He loves you, too! ❤️
The main picture on my blog is a place that my husband and I went to in April (2024) for our belated 15th year anniversary at a beautiful private island, 30 minutes from Nassau, Bahamas, called “Paradise Island”…this place definitely was a little piece of Heaven, but what I treasured MOST, was the Lighthouse!
I loved being able to climb up to the top and feel the breeze on my face, and see out as far as I could see. I imagined that I was there at night, being THE ONLY light source to ships and other vessels who needed to find their way home. This is what Jesus is to ME…a Lighthouse in the dark night, shinning His Light for ALL to see and find their way home. Praying that we continue to SEEK OUT His Light of Truth…
